Chaos

I’m reading the 12 rules for Life by Jordan Peterson, and I came across the word’s chaos vs. order. So, how you best describe chaos is by something that is out of the ordinary, something that makes us feel sad, mad, happy, or just plain different. Order is going about your day with no disruptions, everything is flowing, and you are on standby, but in a good way. Chaos, this is where people love to live. It’s a rush, could be a small rush such as comparing yourself to someone else on fakebook, or a big rush, death. People rather stay in the state of chaos then in the state or order. Is order boring? Could be. Why? There is less drama.

I was talking about this today with my significant other and we touched on friendships and how they come and go. Why do people come into our lives, and why do we become so invested in a friendship when we get hurt along the way.? Because the true person comes out OR you are outgrowing people. You are wanting out of the chaos, because you are doing self-work and being in order is so much more peaceful. However, lonely. Why people quit counseling, coaching, or self-improvement. It’s a lonely place. I would know. You are no longer on the frequency of negativity where most people stay because they wouldn’t know what to do by themselves. Once you start growing and breaking habits, you are breaking free from people who no longer serve you anymore. Now, when I say “serve” I am simply stating it as supporting. Friends quit as when we stop putting so much on social media, they quit us when we are doing the work, but not sharing it. People on a low frequency are on their social media accounts 2-5 hours a day. How dare I say you are on a low frequency if this resonates? You are simply not doing the work to better yourself from society, you are going along with it. Be different.

The stand outs are the people who you don’t see for a while, and they look brighter. They look healthier, younger! They look like they got their life back. That’s because they did the work. They invested in themselves and kept investing because situations do come up where you have to navigate and navigating alone is hard. We are supposed to navigate together, but you have to be wise on who you choose. Choose people who are NOT constantly on social media, choose the people that want to ask deeper questions. They want to know the why behind your answers. These are the people who truly care. They then invest themselves into you because they see the potential. They see you want to jump of the negative train and be better not only for yourself, but for your kids, friends, family. Souls who stick with the work and it is work, it’s not fun. Why people don’t start the mental health journey, it’s too hard. Order equals healthy habits. Chaos equals drama. Choose what best suits you because that my friend, is what you are going to attract.
