I purchased a book a couple years ago and it is the book of 3000 questions and I looked up my favorite number and the question is, ” When and where were you happiest?” I laughed out loud because I had numerous people close to me ask, “Are you happy?” or plan out tell me, “I don’t think you are happy.” So here is the top 14 when and where I was the happiest thus far….

  1. When I got my driver’s license and I was driving solo in my mom’s suburban, I finally felt free.
  2. A family trip to Hawaii where we drove to the top of a mountain and watched the sunrise
  3. At the home I grew up in and I would sit outside weather permitting and watching the sunset
  4. Passing my NCLEX-” I took it twice, fyi, don’t feel bad if you don’t pass it the first time, it doesn’t determine how good of a nurse you are, trust me. “
  5. My Dad and I boogie boarding in Kaui.
  6. My first night as an RN taking care of my patients by myself even though my first one died as I walked in.
  7. My parents divorce, because I knew they weren’t happy. It took me a long time to cope with this, but now, I hope they are living their best lives.
  8. Getting off of all my daytime prescriptions and knowing my thoughts control the way I feel!
  9. Being with souls at the end of their life, they are finally free if they had struggled their whole life here on earth.
  10. My Mom taking me to a Gwen Stefani concert.
  11. Asking a dying patient, “what would they have done differently?” and them telling me “I wish I would have not sweat the small stuff.”
  12. Meeting Riley, the way he came through the door and sat next to me, his energy was palpable
  13. Publishing my book.
  14. My Dad reading my book and telling me how proud he is of me.
